What is a Post-Graduate Certification and Why do i need it?

A Post Graduate Certification supplements a student with academic degree in chemical engineering with work skills as in industry.

Students graduating lack work skills and knowhow, a PGC provides students with the knowhow of industry which then makes thme talking the same language as industry.

Having the industrial work skills makes them getting jobs much more easily than otherwise.

A chemical engineer normally joins an

1) Engineering Firm (EPC), or an

2)Operating company (OPC) or an

3) Investment firm as project process engineer.

This training supplements the skills and knowledge needeed in all of three sectors by making studnets work in real work projects or simulated environments.

PGD PROGRAM

The PGD in Process Engineering is held every summer. It consists of 2 major modules

Module 1: Engineering, Procurement & Commissioning (EPC) of process plants and Project Management (1 Months, Inlcude work on Live EPC project)

Module 2: Process Plant operations (1 Months Training)

Module 3: Work in Live operating plant (Can be considered as internship)
